Lead poisoning and neurobehavioral effects in the city of tulcan carpenters association, 2018


Abstract:

The study carried out in carpenters from the city of Tulcan, aimed to determine lead poisoning and neurobehavioral effects. A qualitative, quantitative, bibliographical, descriptive, cross-sectional, and field paradigm study was carried out using the survey techniques. 100% of the target population is included in the research. Risk factors for lead poisoning and neurobehavioral effects were evidenced, which are related to contact with their work instruments, which in high frequency are continuously exposed. A knowledge deficit in the prevention of poisoning is identified, making it a Public Health problem. The intervention proposal aimed at improving your health condition in order to improve your quality of life.
