Learning Ecosystem Ontology with Knowledge Management as a Service
Abstract:
The term ecosystem has been used to describe complex interaction between living organisms and the physical world. The principles underlying ecosystems can also apply to human interactions in the digital world. As information and communication technologies increasingly contribute to teaching and learning in higher education, digital ecosystem principles can help to understand how to maximize technology to benefit active learning. The learning ecosystem face several challenges, such as interaction of users with technologies, and also the same interaction in different learning moments. There are proposals for technological integration and learning pedagogy, but we did not find a proposal that integrate and describe the knowledge management processes during learning. This paper proposes the ecosystem learning from the knowledge view as a service supported by ontology.
