Learning analytics in continuing training in higher education. Case study: "universidad nacional de loja"


Abstract:

In this work, the main goal of this study is the use of descriptive learning analytics (LA) in continuous training in higher education to identifying the behavior of participants in virtual courses. Traditionally, to the end of a course the participant opinion about the course is based on surveys or interviews, in this case, the LA was used for setting the interaction in the Moodle learning management system (LMS). Learning analytics is an innovative technique for monitoring and controlling the training courses that higher education institutions must implement.
