Learning styles in Civil Engineering students in Ecuador


Abstract:

This study extends the knowledge of learning styles in university students of Civil Engineering. As a result, relationships were found between the grades and the following students' variables: brain dominance, sex, and their thinking mode. Also, it detected different trends in learning styles that could be analyzed in the future. Based on the students' learning style, the teacher can propose specific academic activities for every group of students or combine them to enhance their learning.
