Learning to tell their own stories: Rural students from Chimborazo facing new digital storytelling tools


Abstract:

This article presents the empirical work carried out in the digital literacy and training process with secondary school students from educational institutions of a mostly rural population, accompanied by students and teachers from the Social Communication Program at the National University of Chimborazo. The objective was to apply disruptive educommunication methodologies, while the four phases of methodological work were developed, involving university and secondary actors to understand different training logics that narrate local realities from the perspective of their own protagonists.
