Lenguaje materno y su relación con el desarrollo del lenguaje de niños ecuatorianos de 18 meses

Abstract:

The research topic represents a descriptive study about maternal language and its impact on the linguistic development of 18-month-old Ecuadorian children. It emphasizes the importance of verbal interaction between mothers and children at an early age to enhance their language development. The research used a mix methods non-experimental design to answer the research question: Does mother verbal interaction influence on language development of their children? Results found that mothers have an important role in the language development of their children's. It implies the need to create intervention programs to promote assertive dialogues between mother and their children.
