Levantamiento y análisis preliminar de las fuentes primarias y secundarias de la Historia de la Comunicación de la provincia del Azuay en el periodo 1925-1944

Abstract:

This research caught the analysis and understanding of the History of Communication of Ecuador in the province of Azuay during the July Revolution, between the years 1925-1944, covered three areas of communication: press, radio and photography. Throughout the history of Ecuador Communication, journalism has substantial importance in the development of the country, their culture, their traditions, their struggles and their way of communicating with citizens, journalism has spared no effort to inform the facts, denouncing abuses, fighting in the vanguard of freedom with a people tired of abuses of power. This period was characterized by confrontation and struggle of social classes, the people, the working class, the union against the state, bankers and the oligarchy that had plunged the country into a crisis, this time meant modernization the state, the creation of new laws and regulators in the political and economic entities. In the new born Azuay newspapers, some of very short duration born only to address this social struggle and others who remained for a few decades, in this period the province reaches the radio.
