Abstract:

The popular holiday inside a country is a cultural representation, in which, there are feasted sacred or profane events. The different holidays form a part essentially in whom they celebrate it, every festivity possesses his particular, and this characteristic is the reason for which the celebration can be across rites or commemorative acts. In the Comuna Chilibulo Marcopamba la Raya they celebrate every May the Holiday of the Crosses, this festivity is the worship to the Constellation of the Cross of the South; it consists of promoting the hills Ungüi and Chilindalo to realize the rite of the " Amarre de las cruces ", this rite is to be grateful for the Pacha mama for the received food. The aim of this work is to register the Holiday of the Crosses across a photographic book, in which it will be allowed to be a link of information and cultural knowledge so much of the neighborhood as his holiday
