Abstract:
The contact between languages has been growing steadily and over the centuries. To master a language deals with a series of previous learnings that go from the purely phonetic ones for the orality, to the semantic ones and syntactic for the writing; even more so when you want to develop the purity of the language in the midst of the coexistence of others. The objective of the research is to analyze the linguistic contact between the Kichwa language and the Andean Spanish language. For the collection of information, 10 bilingual Kichwa teachers - Spanish speakers from the upper area of Pilahuin, Tungurahua province, and 10 indigenous professionals from other areas were interviewed to inquire about the possibilities of linguistic mixing expressed in everyday life.
