Los desastres naturales y sus efectos emocionales en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Vicente León

Abstract:

The purpose of this research project was focused on the natural disasters and their emotional effects on the students of the Vicente León Educational Unit. The objective of this research was to review the definitions, fundamental concepts and basic characteristics of natural phenomena and their incidence on an emotional level, we also analyze the risk factors of disasters, the effects on mental health in students And in turn the main preventive strategies depending on the different phases of the disaster cycle with are before, during and after. For that, the methodology used was the formative research, in which the study population was 100 students, 50 teachers and administrative, the method used was descriptive, the technique to obtain information was the survey and the interview. As a result, 46% of students may suffer emotional problems in the event of a natural disaster. In addition, if a natural disaster occurs and a student product is affected, the institution must support it psychologically until Return to your state of equilibrium.
