Abstract:

The purpose of the project was to develop a study focused on the "Nelson Mateus Macías" School of Basic Education, which reflects the problem of the low level of teaching - learning processes in mathematics due to the lack of use of teaching resources by Teachers of basic education, because they have not participated in training or some kind of workshop to help them learn about innovative strategies to use this type of materials, which has an influence on the education of students of the Third Year of Basic Education . To understand the importance of these resources, a bibliographic study was carried out to structure the theoretical framework, followed by the methodology that had as purpose to collect the data where the board of directors, teachers, representatives and students where the surveys were carried out, participated. interviews and observation sheet. With the results we proceeded to the design of a workshop on strategies for the application of teaching resources to improve the quality of mathematics teaching for the development of logical skills, numerical skills, knowledge of exact sciences, among others that are essential in the academic education of the student
