MOOCs and Empathy as core tools for preparing professionals in charge of sexual abuse prevention


Abstract:

[...] this work validates both, the influence of empathy and the ability to improve it by means of adequate training.[...] the results show the importance of blending virtual and face-to-face formative work, thus allowing for close support of the participants. 1.1. The present work is based on this initiative because Ecuador is one of the countries associated to this project through the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE).
