Magnetic-field sensor based on a relaxation oscillator
Abstract:
A new magnetic-field-sensitive device with frequency output has been developed using a novel relaxation oscillator. The frequency output is a linear function of the magnetic-field variations from 1 to 1000 G. Experimental results show a sensitivity of 12 Hz G-1. Further digital signal conditioning is achieved by means of a microcontroller.
