Management of heterogeneous traffic in the future National Airspace System: Decision-support challenges

Abstract:

This article posits that decision-making for traffic control and management in the future National Airspace System will increasingly involve 1) automation and 2) peer-to-peer communication among air vehicles, and envisions modeling and analysis tool sets that will facilitate decision-making. © 2012 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc.
