Mandibular fractures are among the three most common facial regions, treatment constituting a routine activity in the maxillofacial area. During the study period, about 131 cases fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 193 fractures with an age range from 1 year to 80, where the variables studied were gender, age, anatomical site affected, number of fractures, etiology, treatment and complications. We find a higher incidence in male, third decade of life, multiple fracture, pbkp_redilection of the mandibular angle with slight inclination to the left side.
