Manejo hospitalario del paciente con diagnóstico de SIDA en el Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, periodo junio del 2012 a junio del 2014
Abstract:
Objective Assess the clinical management by hospitalization of patients diagnosed with AIDS in the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital in the period of June 2012 to June 2014. Methods and materials A study was performed by descriptive, quantitative, observational transverse cut type, carried out in the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, based on 68 patients were hospitalized in the period of June 2012 to June 2014, reviewing their medical histories and applying the questionnaire proposed, being tabulated and analyzed in EpiInfo version 7 and Excel software Results The 73,53% of patients hospitalized with a diagnosis of AIDS is male , 39,71% have an average age between 31 to 40 years. The 51.47% are single. The 58.82% level of primary instruction. The 39.71% of the patients live in the saw. Regular nutritional status predominates in the 61.76%. The bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis is isolated in 10.29% of crops. The 69.12% have undetectable viral load. In relation to CD4 the 48.53% have less than 200 cells. Previous segmentation of most frequent income with a 52.9% is the syndrome of wear, the less frequent with 2.2% is major depression and autolytic attempt. The 30.88% have egress to enteritis diagnostic. The 45.59% remains hospitalized between 1 to 10 days. The 61.76% used as antiretroviral Abacavir/lamivudine therapy with Lopinavir/Ritonavir. The 39.71% presented infection between 1-12 months time. The 91.18% are discharged alive, a 8.82% of patients die. Conclusions The 91.18% of patients diagnosed with AIDS are discharged in good condition, a 8.82% die during hospitalization, presenting a low mortality rate in the Area of infectious diseases of the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso
