Manufacturing system improvement in shrimp processing: Analysis case MARECUADOR S.A. exporter

Abstract:

In order to improve the manufacturing system of shrimp processing companies, one of the largest exporters in El Oro province, MARECUADOR S.A. The application of tools such as critical path, program evaluation and continuous displacement, with a focus on the theory of constraints, were helpful in proposing a better distribution of activities. The implementation of the project would considerably reduce the overall processing time.
