Mapping of the conceptual co-evolution of the subjects of innovation and organizational knowledge

Abstract:

The subjects of innovation and knowledge in the organization have awakened a major interest in the scientific and business communities in the last decades, evidenced by their theoretical and conceptual evolution as well as by their growing use in management. In this sense, this article has as objective to map the innovation and knowledge themes co-evolution based on bibliometric techniques. Thus, 5100 articles were retrieved from Web of Science and the results were analyzed base on general indicators, journal, country and institution frequency. The main contribution is that this study offers an overview of the actual development of both fields over time.
