Mejora del proceso de fiabilidad del departamento de operaciones y mantenimiento en OCP- Ecuador mediante la aplicación de la herramienta de análisis de modos y efectos de falla

Abstract:

At the present time, there are several tools and methodologies that allow the industries to study the processes, evaluate them and generate the necessary information to be able to improve them continuously and make them competitive according to the needs of a constantly changing business environment. The present study has been carried out in the oil transportation company OCP Ecuador and has focused exclusively on the improvement of the Reliability process that is in charge of the general maintenance of the oil pipeline. With this main objective, the necessary information has been collected to determine the level of performance of the activities that are executed in the process, which allowed to focus on the analysis of the tasks that need more attention, and that is how with all the information obtained we proceeded to define a proposal of an improvement plan whose objective is to increase the performance of the process in general.
