Mejoramiento de la calidad del cuidado enfermero en el centro quirúrgico del hospital San Vicente de Paúl, 2017.

Abstract:

Nurse care based on quality standards, includes, among other criteria, good treatment, use of clear terminology, understanding the patient, having patience before their needs and active listening of their fears. The research aimed to improve the quality of nursing care in the surgical center of the "San Vicente de Paul" hospital. The methodology of the logical framework was used in the development of an action research. Twelve nurses and a sample of 348 patients participated. After implementing intervention strategies such as elaboration of protocols, flow charts and training of personnel, among others, 100% of the personnel After applying intervention strategies identified in the logical framework, almost all staff did better delivery of patients, improved the application of safe surgery at all three times and verified the data of all users in the medical record. Also, every participant applied the hand washing protocol, which, therefore, improved user satisfaction.
