Abstract:
Training for managers is a crucial aspect in the Republic of Cuba, particularly in people occupying managing positions in those activities linked with the tourism sector (due to the incidence that they have in their national economy). It has become a concern, so much for the trainers as well for managers, knowing how to measure the impact that this process has in the tourist organizations. Nowadays, there is a lack of a system of indicators to measure the training in managerial personnel that carries out their functions in the tourism, as well as the possible consequences of this process in these organizations; it constitutes the main issue of the present paper. The above-mentioned justifies that the objective of the present work is to propose a methodology to measure the impact of the training through the selection of a system of indicators, focused to the managerial personnel of the Cuban tourist organizations. As researching tools it has been used the descriptive Statistic and the Delphi method.
