Methodological proposal for the migration of it services to a cloud computing environment

Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to propose a method for the migration of Information Technology services from an organization to a cloud computing environment, considering its viability through its criticality and technical characteristics. For this, the different stages of the method will be defined. A characterization of the organization will be carried out, identifying the IT services and their relation with the strategic objectives of the same. Once identified, it will proceed to analyze the criticality of the same by means of a method that considers parameters such as threats, probability of occurrence, tolerance to risk and impact on the organization. In the final stage the appropriate cloud environment will be defined considering the service models and implementation of cloud computing, the definition of service level agreements and a plan of execution of the same for the organization.
