Methodological proposal for the planning and optimization of the area of retail store cashiers

Abstract:

The document deals with a methodological proposal for the optimization and planning of the economic resources and the time of the cashier area of a leading Ecuadorian retail company in its branch. The analysis is exploratory, descriptive and proactive, determining the origin of the points to be developed and the best practices in the market. An optimization of 25% of the total number of cashier and the reduction of overtime in the cashier area of 35% was obtained.
