Modeling analysis of downdraft gasification integrated with SOFC for power generation
Abstract:
this paper focuses on the integration of biomass gasification (downdraft fixed bed reactor using air as a reactor agent fed with olive leaves as a fuel) with SOFCs (Solid Oxide Fuel Cells) which are prospective technology and effective in the production of electrical power with high efficiency. Cycle-TempoOR simulation has been used to study the developed system. The developed system is capable of providing electrical power of 424.06kWe1, 77.60kWth of thermal power and net electrical efficiency 44.699% at SOFC exit temperature 800, 1500Am2 of Current density and fuel utilization factor 74.39%.
