Modeling and identification in a wind generation system based on Dfig
Abstract:
The paper presents the results of the research carried out regarding the modeling and identification in a wind energy conversion system using a Doubly Fed Induction Generator. Magnetic saturation, as main nonlinearity in the generator, is considered to take in account their effects on the dynamic behavior of the system. The dynamics of this kind of generator is modeled with the basic equations describing the operation, considering the mutual inductance as the variable to indicate a presence of saturation. Different operation conditions caused by voltage disturbances were used to applied the identification procedures. As output variables were used active and reactive generated power and rotor velocity.
