Modeling the Food Input Acquisition Process to Improve Traceability in Litopenaeus Vannamei Shrimp Production Using Blockchain
Abstract:
This article describes the modeling of the food procurement process to improve traceability in the production of shrimp Litopenaeus Vannamei through the use of Blockchain. Also, we applied BPM (Business Process Management) methodology to detect redundant or repetitive steps that did not contribute to the production process. Later, the TO-BE model, where the improvements were embodied and integrated with the creation of the prototype, allows recording and managing the food procurement process, relying on distributed accounting technology, better known as Blockchain (Blockchain). With the development of a prototype, functional and technical requirements allow the construction of a web application, including the smart contracts (definitions of the structures to be exchanged during transactions), business logic by redefining rules for the exchange of contracts, and the definition of transactions in the Blockchain, replacing the manual registration.
