Modelling of two phase flow pressure drop of refrigerant mixtures under liquid/gas injection conditions

Abstract:

This paper presents and pbkp_redicts the Two phase flow condensation pressure drop characteristics under liquid/gas injection. The refrigerant mixtures R-404A, R407C and R507 as well as R-410A are the subject of this study. Observed data showed that liquid/gas injection tends to decrease the condensation pressure drop. The comparative study between the pbkp_redicted results and the experimental ones had an average deviation of ±10% depending upon the refrigerant mixture. © 2004 Elsevier Science Ltd.
