Monitoring and video surveillance with real-time iot of the collective transport units

Abstract:

The Internet of Things (IoT) offers a revolutionary world connected between objects, their environment and people. This article presents a monitoring and video surveillance system based on IoT of the collective transport units of the Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The system is based on providing Internet service, obtaining information about routes and location, monitoring and video surveillance of the units. These services are displayed in a mobile application that do the role of interface for students and the Administrator. The process begins when receiving information from the global positioning satellites (GPS), then the records are sent to a web server to extract the data in the SBC of the Administrator module. In addition, at risk the panic button issues an email alert verified by the administrator in real time through the proposed video streaming system.
