Morbilidad percibida entre adultos de Cerrito de los Morreños, Guayas 2015

Abstract:

Introduction: The diseases felt by the population are those that each individual provides about health problems that affect him as a subjective experience, have an impact on their biosocial and economic development and may differ from scientifically recognized pathologies. Objective: To determine the incidence of morbidity among adult males in Cerrito de los Morreños, in 2015. Methods: A prospective observational cross-sectional study in the rural community of Cerrito de los Morreños, conducted during the month of December, 2015, in men with a 20 to 90 years old age range based on the Clinical History model Of the Ministry of Public Health adapted to the community. The overall incidence of each disease group and the specific incidence according to age group, sex, academic degree, vaccination, and socioeconomic conditions were established. Results: About 122 perceived morbidities were identified, including fractures, severe wounds and digestive diseases. Discussion: The varied morbidities are consistent with that reported in the country and other geographical areas, with the highest incidence of fractures, wounds and digestive diseases being associated with the inadequate sanitary conditions of the commune. Conclusions and recommendations: The incidence of sensory morbidity of the musculoskeletal and digestive system added to obesity / overweight malnutrition requires control of the pbkp_redisposing factors in order to optimize their quality of life.
