Morbilidad y mortalidad materna y neonatal y calidad de atención en el Centro de Salud No 9 del cantón Nabón, 2010
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: to in center describe to the main causes of morbidity and maternal and neonatal mortality and the quality of the attention of health Nº 9 of the Nabón Corner in 2010. METHODS AND MATERIALS a descriptive study was realized in the period between March to October of the 2010. The sample was representative and random. # 9 was selected to 52 cases of the Center of health Nabón on the base of the information registered in the SIP. Results Of the total of taken care of neoborn women and are not cases of mortality, being observed that the cases of maternal morbidity are the following: Infection of urinary tract with 87%, hipodinamia uterine with 7%, premature membrane rupture with 4%, moderate Preeclampsia and other diseases with 1%. They fulfill the norm referring to the prenatal control and childbirth grama in a 80%, is taken care of by doctors or obstetriz in a 100%. As far as the neonatal morbidity the causes were: respiratory upheavals with 10.1% of the alive been born ones, on weight when being born (3.3%), macrocefalia (1.6%), low weight when being born (1.6%), and syndrome of Down (1.6%). 60% of new born were taken care of by doctors and fulfill the 100% of the activities of the norm of quality standards. Conclusions It has been managed to in center identify the main causes of maternal and neonatal morbidity of Nabón Health, simultaneously to analyze the quality standards according to the norm of the MSP.
