A finding was found: thanks to the importance of having two participants who reside in the study city, but belong to Manabí, they indicated elements of the Guayaquil man from the comparisons made with the men of their province. It was shown that, within the cultural dynamics for the interviewee. the Guayaquil man tends to show himself as he is, while, for the interviewee, the Guayaquil man is delicate and does not prove to be masculine. Likewise, the characteristics that this masculinity represented were related: it is not macho. It was concluded that a common stereotype in Guayaquil man is surprising and has foreign influence.
