Multiópticas teaching about information and communication technologies in universities of Ecuador
Abstract:
In the last decade, there were several institutional and regulatory changes. This is an ongoing investigation, whose intention is to generate an emerging theoretical approach to teachers’ multi-optics on information and communication technologies. It is located in the qualitative interpretive paradigm within transcendental phenomenology with the support of hermeneutics. To collect the information, three representatives of the Central University of Ecuador, the University of Cuenca and the Luis Vargas Torres de Esmeraldas Technical University were interviewed. The findings found through the initial categories: use of ICT, conditions of university education and criteria of the virtual meeting, allowed the systematization of the meanings and experiences of social actors. Some of the highlighted conclusions address the possibility of strengthening and developing training in times of ICT-mediated transformations.
