Mössbauer study of hydrodemetallization clay catalysts of heavy oils: Role of pyrrhotites
Abstract:
The evolution of iron in clay catalysts employed in hydrodemetallization (HDM) of heavy oils has been studied by the Mossbauer effect. Pyrrhotites which appear during the process, were recognized as one of the active phases in HDM. © 1986 J.C. Baltzer A.G., Scientific Publishing Company.
