Música tradicional ecuatoriana para piano: adaptaciones para el nivel inicial


Abstract:

No doubt the piano is one of the most complete instruments, their very wide tessitura and tone quality enables the listener enjoy producing different emotions and feelings, when it is interpreted with maturity and professionalism. Professional training in music, specifically the pianist requires that art institutions such as conservatories and music academies, have in their library texts that allow them to expand their sphere of knowledge about genres and styles, since their beginnings that is to say the early years, since their first piano lessons. As Ecuadorians and professionals in music, we have the task of providing so that the future pianist transcends in its ideal to build new musical proposals, by the means of teaching universal music and of course our traditional Ecuadorian music. This is a proposal that has been developed based on personal experience in teaching and with technical and pedagogical-musical criteria that welcomes thirty traditional songs written by different Ecuadorians composers and some of them anonymous that have been transmitted from generation to generation. It is aimed to beginners of piano lessons, for those who are starting in this beautiful art , for those teachers who have the social awareness to spread our traditional Ecuadorian music such as “albazos , tonadas ( tunes), danzantes, pasillos”, among others, with teaching and learning fundamentals like Pestalozzi is pedagogy that stands up for the individuality of the child and teacher input in their integral training , the meaningful learning taken from the constructivist theory which lays the foundation on the construction of new concepts based on the experience of the student , and other principles such as ordering , proximity and alignment taken from the teaching of music; that allow us to grow through the piano repertoire in the classroom, the Ecuadorian musical nationalism and that serve as part of the curriculum in the professional development centers at their beginner levels , and in others as a supporting text to gradually get into the staves in our music
