Nanosized trigonal prismatic and antiprismatic Cu^II coordination cages based on tricarboxylate linkers

Abstract:

3D coordination cages have been synthesized via the supramolecular 3 + 2 self-assembly of macrocyclic dicopper molecular clips and tricarboxylate linkers, the nature of which allows the introduction of different functionalities to the 3D cages. © 2008 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
