New technologies in gestational accompaniment


Abstract:

This article is a review of the use of new technologies for prenatal care, monitoring of activities, which is done to the pregnant woman, to promote maternal health and prevent diseases that affect the development and growth of the fetus. Through the assessment of the pregnant woman, determine the use and perceptions towards information and communication technologies (ICT), in pregnant women, for prenatal care. We evaluated 258 people from a study population who underwent a survey on gestation and cell phone use with mobile applications to monitor the baby. It is a quantitative, bibliographical, descriptive investigation, to arrive at results that describe the pertinent conclusions and recommendations, on the use of the new technologies that exist on the neonatal control.
