New variations involved in the genesis and rupture of aneurysms
Abstract:
It is a web known fact that the pulse is a wave and has more speed that the blood flow. This tramsmits a vibratory energy and produces a resonance. This phenomena has bening musinderstood as product of turbulence and without importance in vascular pathology. The resonance was studied in a model 15 demonstrated its importance in the bifurcations were the aneurisms are more frecuently present. We implanted 40 aneurysms in the abdominal aorta of rats and measured the pulse presure with a electronic cronometer and detected an increase of preasure in the wall of the aneurysm. ©INNN, 2006.
