Nodular fasciitis

Abstract:

We report a case of a nodular fasciitis on a 26-year-old woman arising on her right leg. The tumor was succesfully removed, and histopathology demonstrated a proliferation of spindle-shaped fibroblasts. The immunoperoxidase studies were positive for smooth muscle actin and CD-68.
