Notification of advertising content with bluetooth and beacon technology for library services


Abstract:

There are many possibilities and ways to communicate easily between advertisers and the public, the preference of people to access advertising content through digital applications is increasing. One of the strategies that will be a trend with a long-term future is the proximity marketing, making it easier for customers to be informed what they are looking for and without falling into spam or invasive messages is an important challenge for companies that want to reach consumers through personalized and unique communications. For such reasons we propose a mobile application that notifies them of relevant advertising content from the social network with the library’s service information. For the development of the application, we use the Scrum methodology that focuses on iterative development management of the project. The technology used for the project is beacon devices.
