Análisis de los contenidos curriculares sobre educación sobre educación intercultural en el texto escolar "Alto Rendimiento" ciencias sociales del tercer año de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa La Inmaculada.
Abstract:
The research carried out is an analysis of the curricular contents on intercultural education, which are found in the school text “High Performance” of the subject of Social Studies, in the Immaculate Educational Unit. For the development of this research, the analysis of the activities proposed by the school text to develop those contents with an intercultural approach was taken into account. In addition to identifying the skills that it has selected from the national curriculum, to verify if the educational institution, being of a particular nature, is selecting school texts, which contribute to the development of interculturality and cause “substantive experiences” in students, as Gimeno Sacristán points out, allowing the student to learn to value the human diversity of their country, accepting that we are different, without having to make any kind of discrimination. The research is based on a theoretical foundation, which briefly details the history of intercultural education, as well as the characterization of indigenous and Afro-Ecuadorian nationalities, who live in Ecuador. You can also find, in what way those legal documents such as: the 2008 constitution and the national plan of Good Living contributed to consolidate intercultural education. For data collection, a field diary record was used, interviews with managers, as well as the analysis of the contents of the text and the relevant findings that are exposed.
