Objetos inteligentes desarrollados en software BIM, caso específico: mampostería basada en especificaciones técnicas del material para la ciudad de Loja.
Abstract:
The backbone of the parametric design using BIM software is the use of smart objects. These are not geometrical representations of real objects, but entities whose characteristics can be defined later in the designing process. The modeling is made up of parametric objects that are mostly pre-established by the manufacturer or the software to which it belongs. These digital technologies, and specially the smart objects developed in these platforms have been created under international technical norms and regulations. Despite that, such objects currently available in the BIM libraries, are not yet fully adapted to the needs of the users that have to use them in architectural urban and landscaping projects in our countries. The main objective of this paper is the documentation, in a theoretical and practical manner, of the building process of an intelligent object (brick wall), and its later application in an architectural model, where it can be adapted to different conditions. Using this premise as a starting point, and exercise has been created, using visual programming tools that allow to create algorithms that be executed in a computer. An exploratory research was used to collect information and data from various sources (texts, videos, papers) to improve the usage of the software. The final algorithm that will generate the smart object will be written in Autodesk Dynamo, backed up by Autodesk Revit as the main BIM program. With this, it will be possible to evaluate both the advantages and disadvantages of this approach in terms of the specific needs of our reality, to determinate whether or not the pursuit of this method is worth.
