Of rights in case of domestic violence protection
Abstract:
In Ecuador, the legal regulations on domestic violence have been promoted by the new restructuring in the country, after the Constitution of the Republic of 2008. Subsequently, the approval of the Comprehensive Organic Criminal Code in 2014, and its successive revisions, mark a milestone in Ecuadorian legislation regarding the problem of intrafamily violence. In this way, the establishment of different types of domestic violence as a crime, the relevant judicial procedures for its process, as well as the protection measures granted to the victims and the sanctions applied to the aggressors were achieved. Due to which, this document shows the need for a detailed study of what is intrafamily violence, as well as the protection measures adopted by the State through its legislation and accepting the measures that arise from the signing of the different international treaties that protect the rights of victims of domestic violence. For this, concept maps are used as a support and understanding tool of the topic to be developed in the study. At the end of the study, it was possible to verify that the victims have the support of national and international legislation and the protection measures provided by the regulations legal to guarantee their safety and reintegration into society. .
