On inverse problems for sets in ℤⁿ<inf>3</inf>

Abstract:

The sets in G = ℤ33with maximal cardinality and zero sum free are characterized. Also, the greatest cardinality and structure of subsets of G without zero sum and length ≤ 3 sets, are given. As a result, we find exact values of Olson's constant Ok(G) for k ∈ [3, 7].
