On the bandwidth of loop antennas using characteristic mode analysis

Abstract:

Characteristic Mode Analysis of various loop antennas will be performed in order to show how the bandwidth of these antennas can be enlarged. A thin loop, a loop with some height and a loop with larger width and no height will be analyzed in terms of characteristic modes, showing interesting results.
