On the energy costs of present day society

Abstract:

The sustainability of earth's resources could be taken into account by measuring the resources expenditure in producing all goods our society consumes. The need for a world data bank and a world society that provides rules and conventions for allocating costs has prompted ASME to propose a research project for calculating exergetic cost of the products in the world economy. The research includes a complete, detailed, and systematic studies of all types of end uses.
