Optimización del sistema de inventarios de la bodega de respuestos de la Empresa Ecuaestibas S.A.

Abstract:

The present is an study of optimization of the processes of the inventory system of the warehouse of spare parts of the company Ecuaestibas, initially a record of the most relevant problems of the current system was made, then an ABC classification was made, for costs of spare parts , the most expensive (A) will apply a new cyclical inventory policy every month to avoid difference in them (theft), medium value (B) every three months, and (C) every six months, according to the demand will be located according to the costs, (A) on the opposite side, (B) in the center, and (C) near the dispatch area. Finally, in order to minimize the costs due to the excess of spare parts and shortfalls, the calculations of the optimal quantity of orders, reorder points were made, it is worth mentioning that these calculations were made at 3 years, being the last year where the desired results will be obtained.
