Optimización del área de producto terminado de la planta de beneficio alto Vizcaya del cantón Zaruma.


Abstract:

In the present work carried out at the Alto Vizcaya processing plant, a series of problems have been found related to the low production yield of copper concentrate. One of them is the lack of process optimization of the processes in the plant´s flocculator of the plant. Therefore, the main objective has been established to optimize the amount of finished product in the flocculator area of the finished product in the flotation area of the Goldmins company. In the course of the investigation, it was evidenced by means of a factorial experimental design in the Minitab 17 software, resulting in 2000 kg/l, the thickening density of the copper concentrate with the 1110 flocculant. Therefore, the Ishikawa and Pareto diagram were used to determine the root cause of the problem. As a proposal, it is established to implement the experimental factorial design and its acquisition of the 1110 flocculant, the same one that must be executed within the established term of the proposal and its implementation cost is $ 5,609.41.
