Análisis de los factores psicosociales y su relación con el rendimiento laboral en conductores de transporte de carga pesada de la Empresa Transestiba S.A.


Abstract:

The objective of this study is to analyze psychosocial factors and their relationship with labor performance of high-performance drivers from TRANSESTIBA S.A. A trucking company located in the city of Guayaquil, in addition to contributing to its development through the proposal of an intervention plan, which establishes strategies that will contribute to improving the working environment and thereby improve the work performance of drivers. Under this premise, the present study proposes to identify and evaluate psychosocial factors through the use of methodology with technical principles such as the ISTAS 21 questionnaire (short version) and performance evaluation of 90°, applied to 11 drivers, in order to analyse the results obtained by correlating their dimensions through the use of SPEARMAN’s SPSS-RHO statistical software which managed to determine that the dimensions with the greatest impact on work performance are Psychological Demands, Active Work and development of skills and Double presence, while the dimensions Social Support and Compensation do not generate greater impact, for this purpose the present study proposes an intervention plan with a viable investment of $ 7,350 for the benefit of drivers, company and stakeholders.
