POWER BI AS A DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT TOOL

Abstract:

SE business intelligence tools have been implemented in national and international companies, allowing the restructuring of organizations, providing efficiency in data management so that the management administration can base its decisions on information. This article was developed to demonstrate the usefulness of the Power BI tool in decision making, serving as a support for the hierarchical level, satisfying the requirements of managers who seek to obtain answers to their management on a permanent basis. Ralph Kimball’s methodology was used, which allowed designing a data architecture according to the company’s needs. The results showed the improvement in management management, it was concluded that, by implemen-ting Power BI as a business intelligence tool, an increase in the company’s productivity is achieved.
