PROCESO DE SENSIBILIZACIÓN A DOCENTES PARA EL DESARROLLO DE UNA CULTURA INCLUSIVA
Abstract:
This research was developed under the modality of systematization of experiences, in the performance of our pre-professional practices within the building a culture of diversity project, the experience that was systematized is the Process of raising awareness of teachers for the development of an Inclusive Culture, at the center was the following question: What factors favored and limited the process of raising awareness to teachers for the development of an inclusive culture in the Educational Unit Faith and Joy? , the aim was to understand more deeply our experiences and thus be able to improve them, whose objective of the project was to promote a culture about diversity through a system of educational actions that contribute to a higher level of awareness on the subject to the improvement of educational care in the institution, the methodology was the systematization of experiences, the instruments used were: structured interviews on the subject to improving educational care in the institution, the methodology was the systematization of experiences, the instruments used were: structured interviews , surveys, workshops, sociodemographic data sheet, questionnaires, focus group, in which 32 teachers aged between 31 and 36 years of male and female with third-level studies were employed, critical reflection shows that teacher awareness should be developed based on the participatory character that the teacher must have, in every aspect of his profession, it is concluded that the factors that favor the process of raising awareness of inclusive culture are, appropriate academic training, constant participation in areas of diversity and inclusion, use of methods and techniques that give it an individual character in each interaction between student and teacher
